The situation
Manufacturers submit lighting products to the DesignLights Consortium, and utilities and buyers across North America rely on its Qualified Products Lists to decide what qualifies for rebates.
The site has to serve those lists, the technical requirements behind them and a member area, all on one WordPress install.
What the site runs on
- A Qualified Products List hub covering SSL, Horticultural, Networked Lighting Controls and LUNA, with submit-a-product pages for manufacturers.
- MyDLC, the member area.
- Custom content types for events, reports, logo notices, speakers, sessions, sponsors and a glossary.
- Custom taxonomies across the organisation's programs, teams, resources and session tracks.
- Event management through Event Espresso.
- Versioned technical requirements, so past versions stay published next to the current one.
